The SARCAN Depot also accepts used household paints and some electronics for recycling.

Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (closed over lunch) and Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (open over lunch ). Customers are asked to please use the west side entrance door to SARCAN.

We recommend that you make an appointment for larger beverage container drop-offs so that our staff may better assist you. To contact Maple Creek's SARCAN Depot, phone 662-4515.

Additional Recycling Information

The Maple Creek SARCAN Depot only accepts returnable beverage containers, used paint and some electronics. The Town of Maple Creek contracts household and commercial single-stream recycling pickup for paper, cardboard, glass, tin and plastic.

Don't have time to drop off your returnable beverage containers to the SARCAN Depot? Why not save them for the next bottle drive so that the deposit refund stays in the community and helps fund local initiatives?

Leaving  your returnable cans, bottles and tetra juice boxes in the purple "Communities in Bloom" bin on the east side of our facility not only supports the efforts of our local Communities in Bloom project, but also provides meaningful work and income for some of the participants at our Day Centre.
